Bringing an M wagon stateside for the first time would certainly be a momentous occasion, worthy of the Pebble Beach stage. Don’t count out the possibility of something relating to the M8. The top-tier 8 Series hasn’t been in the spotlight much recently, but its introduction at such a high-profile event could change that. Whether it's a new iteration or a special edition, an M8 appearance would certainly turn heads and make for an electrifying reveal.
It's Not Electric—Yet
While BMW has ambitious plans for electric M cars, those are still a few years down the road. The upcoming electric M3, for example, is pegged for a 2027 release and is expected to pack around 700 horsepower. That’s an exciting prospect, but it doesn't quite fit the timeline for this year’s Pebble Beach showcase.
