I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review, but here goes. I bought a 911 (991.1) in March ‘21 from Discovery Auto. I am from out of state. A fortuitous family vacation in FL led me to finally see the car in person. Before I even saw the car, I spoke to Jim in Sales and asked that I take it to a nearby Porsche mechanic for a PPI (pre-purchase inspection). He obliged. When the car came back with a minor issue (wrong brake pads and worn out back brakes), they were willing to work out an amicable discount from list. Jim even helped set up a covered truck to transport the car back to my state (I paid the fee, of course). Since then, in 2.5 years and (just) 9k miles later I’ve had zero issues with the car! The reason for the docking of one star was that even though I put $10k down and financed the rest through Chase at an amazing rate, I wasn’t able to drive off the lot with the car until Chase paid the dealer several days later. Because my wife was on the loan she needed to sign all the documents at the dealership, too. Because she wasn’t with me, they asked that I drive back up to Tampa with her on vacation to sign the docs. That was very inconvenient (DocuSign, anyone?) but Jim went the extra mile and drove down to our vacation rental 90 minutes from the dealership so my wife could sign the documents. It took about a week to ship the car; I was nervous since this was the first time I purchased a car out of state before, but Jim was very responsive and helpful during the entire process. I’d recommend buying from them out of state of anyone had the same concerns as I did. Cheers!
